Building on the official launch of the programme in 2025 and years of ongoing community support, the 2026 edition saw colleagues across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, North America and South America take part in community-led activities designed to create positive social and environmental impact from May to August.
Throughout, teams contributed their time, expertise and energy to initiatives including environmental restoration projects, tree planting, waste reduction campaigns, blood donation drives, fundraising challenges, wellbeing activities, volunteering programmes, school renovation projects, employability workshops, mentoring initiatives, financial literacy education and skills-building opportunities for young people.
Highlights include running a career exposure pathway for youth in Germany, transforming a rural school environment in Romania, volunteering in an inclusive festival for people with disabilities in Belgium, planting 500 trees to support environmental restoration in Kenya, volunteering with social mobility charities in the UK, delivering financial literacy activities for local families in Singapore, and volunteering at a special education school to improve facilities and promote inclusion in Chile.
The programme also saw colleagues support a broad range of community organisations and social causes, from cancer awareness and healthcare initiatives to social inclusion programmes, environmental education, support for vulnerable communities and activities aimed at improving access to education and employment opportunities.
Soumyanetra Mondal, Group Head of Corporate Sustainability, said: "Community impact weeks reflect our commitment to creating meaningful, lasting impact in the communities where we live and work. In its second year, the programme has brought colleagues together across the globe to contribute their time, skills and expertise to causes that matter locally, while supporting our shared ambition to help build a more sustainable, inclusive and prosperous future. From climate action and community wellbeing initiatives to education and employability programmes, our people continue to demonstrate the positive difference we can make when we work together."
Community impact weeks form part of Forvis Mazars Group's broader corporate sustainability agenda and commitment to creating long-term positive impact for people, communities and the planet.
