Aedín Morkan Partner, Audit & Assurance

Aedín Morkan is a partner within the Forvis Mazars audit and assurance team and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. She has extensive experience providing external audit, financial reporting, regulatory, technical accounting and governance advice to a wide range of organisations across multiple sectors.

Aedín joined the firm in 1999 as a trainee chartered accountant. Since 2016, she has specialised in supporting organisations in the not-for-profit sector. She works with a broad range of charities and other not-for-profit organisations including trade unions, membership bodies and social enterprises. She has particular expertise in Charities SORP, as well as charity regulation and governance.

Aedín is a former chair of the judging panel for the Good Governance Awards for not-for-profits. She continues to lead the technical screening process and contributes to the ongoing development of the awards. She has also been involved in the judging and technical review of not-for-profit categories in the Published Accounts Awards.

She is an active member of the Forvis Mazars CSR Committee.
